Certified ISO 9001, it supplies a whole range of sectors with a broad range constituted by large families of modular shelving, for pallets, silos and warehouses for small pieces or heavy loads, containers of various types for stocking and stacking, segregated collection and other uses. Alimac produce nastri adesivi per il settore dell’imballaggio e li commercializza in oltre 30 paesi. In particolare, l’azienda varesina è specializzata nei nastri tecnici spolettati, che sviluppa in sinergia con i produttori di applicatori. La sua gamma si compone di oltre 50 prodotti, alcuni dei quali sviluppati ad hoc per applicazioni particolari. Fra gli altri, il nastro adesivo C. 105 S presenta caratteristiche indicate per la preparazione di maniglie adesive per imballi pesanti - adesione bilanciata, particolare resistenza meccanica e inerzia agli agenti ossidanti - e viene commercializzato nelle misure standard da 25x660 mm con manicotto da 3” o da 25x5.000 mm con manicotto da 6” (altre su richiesta). Caratteristiche tecniche: supporto di MOPP, spessore di 50 micron (totale 72), allungamento 35%, colore trasparente, adesività su acciaio 6, su PE 5.5 e carico di rottura 350.

Alimac produces adhesive tapes for the packaging industry and markets these in over 30 countries. In particular, this Varese-based firm has specialised in spooled adhesive tapes, which it develops in synergy with applicator manufacturers. Its product range numbers more than 50 products, some of which have been developed ad hoc for special applications. Among others, the C. 105 S adhesive tape has special properties for the preparation of adhesive handles for heavy packs - balanced adhesion, special mechanical strength and resistance to oxidising agents - and is sold in standard sizes of 25x660 mm with a 3” sleeve or 25x5,000 mm with a 6” sleeve (other sizes on request). Technical features: MOPP backing, 50 microns thick (72 in all), 35% elongation, transparency, adheres to steel 6, PE 5.5 and with an ultimate strength of 350.

Aticarta è un gruppo cartario integrato, con una cartiera a Pompei e uno stabilimento grafico-cartotecnico a Rovereto. La prima produce una vasta gamma di carte e cartoncini dalle molteplici grammature, anche riciclati, per l’imballaggio di sigarette, usi grafici e il packaging di dolci e cosmetici. Il secondo è specializzato nella stampa e converting di confezioni per il tabacco e prodotti alimentari. Certificata ISO 9002 nel ‘94 e ISO 14001 nel 2000, Aticarta si pone all’avanguardia nella ricerca della qualità e nel rispetto dell’ambiente. Attrezzata con macchine da stampa rotocalco e offset, in Trentino produce prevalentemente astucci e pacchetti morbidi per sigarette, carta e astucci stecche, nonché carta imitazione sughero, perforata e non, e vanta un’eccellenza nella riproduzione dei colori come nel taglio e nella confezione.

Aticarta is an integrated paper group, with a papermill at Pompei and a graphics-paper&cardboard converter at Rovereto. The former produces a vast range of paper and cardboard of various basis weight, also recycled, for packaging cigarettes, for graphic uses and packaging confectionery and cosmetics. The latter is specialised in the printing and converting of packs for tobacco and food products. ISO 9002 certified, in ‘94 and ISO 14001 in the year 2000, Aticarta is a leader in the quest for quality and in respecting the environment. Equipped with rotogravure and offset print machines, in Trentino it mainly produces cases and soft packs for cigarettes, paper and cigarette cartons as well as imitation cork paper, perforated and non perforated, and can boast excellence in color reproduction and cutting the packs.
| | 912 Reti tubolari per alimenti
Tenax (produzione di reti realizzate con polimeri termoplastici) presenta una linea di reti tubolari per l’imballo di prosciutti, mortadelle e ogni altro tipo di salume, realizzate in PP e PE di alta qualità. Grazie alla loro robustezza strutturale possono essere utilizzate anche nelle fasi di stagionatura e affumicatura. Tenax propone anche reti tubolari per l’imballo dei più comuni tipi di crostaceo, caratterizzate da un disegno della maglia che consente un’ampia aerazione del contenuto, garantendone la freschezza. Sempre nel settore food si trovano inoltre le reti CN a struttura biplanare per formaggio, ovvero reti piane, utilizzate per favorire il drenaggio del siero dei prodotti freschi. Conformi alle normative sull’imballaggio di alimenti, tutte i prodotti Tenax sono disponibili in bobina o in pezzi tagliati a misura.
| | Tubular nets for food products
Tenax (production of nets made with thermoplastic resins) presents a line of tubular nets for packaging hams, bologna and other types of cold cut meats, made in high quality PP and PE. Thanks to their structural sturdiness they can also be used in the seasoning and smoking stages. Tenax also offers tubular nets for packaging crustaceans, featuring a pattern of net that enables full airing of the contents, guaranteeing freshness. As well as the food sector one also has the CN biplane structure nets for cheeses, or that is flat nets, used to drain the whey from fresh products. Conforming to the standards for packaging foodstuffs, all Tenax products are available in spool form or in pieces cut to measure.

Arjo Wiggins Italia ha presentato all’ultimo Converflex la nuova gamma di carte Conqueror, di recente rivisitata nel marchio e ristrutturata in cinque linee di prodotto: la Connoisseur a elevato contenuto di cotone, la “marcata” Texture, le carte lisce a marchio Smooth, le trendy Concept e le Digital per la stampa digitale.
Sviluppata sulla base dei risultati di una ricerca condotta a livello internazionale, questa rivisitazione ha permesso di integrare i prodotti già affermati con nuove versioni, come le lussuose Concept disponibili nelle finiture 100% cotone (anche in versione non filigranata) e Naturale, entrambe da 110 g in su. Da vedere le Concept iridescenti e quelle con la filigrana personalizzata.

Arjo Wiggins Italia presented its new range of Conqueror papers at the last Converflex, recently revamped in terms of brand and restructured in five product lines: Connoisseur with a high cotton content, its highly recommended Texture, Smooth brand paper, trendy Concept and Digital for digital printing.
Developed on the basis of results of a study carried out at international level, this revamping has enabled the producer to integrate already successful products with new versions, such as the luxurious Concept available in 100% cotton finish (also in version without watermark) and Natural, both from 110 g upwards. A feast to the eyes the Concept iridescents and those with personalised watermark.

PFM lancia Unibag, una soluzione studiata per il confezionamento in verticale di prodotti morbidi e fragili (come pomodori, uva e frutta in genere). Si tratta di una confezione brevettata flow pack a tre saldature con fondo quadro, realizzata automaticamente partendo da una bobina di PP laminato o accoppiato. Ottimizzando le prestazioni della propria confezionatrice verticale Zenith, PFM ha elaborato un sistema esclusivo che impedisce la caduta libera del prodotto, che viene invece trasportato delicatamente durante le fasi riempimento e confezionamento. Oltre a ridurre al minimo indispensabile la quantità di materiale d’imballo impiegato, Unibag è facilmente stampabile, offrendo quindi la possibilità di trasferire al consumatore finale tutte le informazioni necessarie relative al prodotto. Di formato pratico e maneggevole, può essere dotata di maniglia ergonomica, risolvendo così i problemi legati alla movimentazione e al trasporto.

PFM is launching Unibag, a solution devised for the vertical packaging of soft and fragile products (such as tomatoes, grapes and fruit in general), a patented flowpack with three seals and square base, made automatically starting off from a reel of laminated or faced PP. Optimising the performance of its own vertical packer Zenith, PFM has devised an exclusive system that stops the free falling of the product, that is delicately transported during the filling and packaging stages. As well as reducing to the indispensable minimum the quantity of packaging material used, Unibag is easy to print, hence offering the possibility of transferring all the information needed covering the product. Coming in a handy and practical format, Unibag can be fitted with ergonomic handle, thus solving problems linked to handling and transportation.

UCB Films has launched the latest Fast Flexible, called Propafilm FFX, made in BOPP and coated with different materials on two levels. The first is covered with a material especially devised for sealing films at low temperatures and enables their functioning at high speeds. The latter is covered with high barrier PVDC, that guarantees the product greater protection from humidity and oxygen. Ideal for packing biscuits and bakery products in continuous flow, Propafilm FFX has excellent barrier properties, feature that, along with the minimum seal time and the low pressure resistance, guarantees a fully protected pack.
