Abbiati & Fabbri has been operating for more than 70 years in the field of cosmetics packaging and has made a name for itself as one of the main Italian producers in plastic packaging of decorative cosmetics. Thanks to the study and development of in-house, leading edge production processes, Abbiati & Fabbri are offering the market a new range of highly interesting articles. The company’s latest new feature is the container for compacts SR130, made using the double injection technique, constituting an excellent concentrate of the progress in cutting-edge technology coupled with maximum attention to design. One of the main points of the project is to enable a considerable reduction in production times as well as allowing the possibility of creating various versions of the same containers without added costs for tooling up, also avoiding down-time during production.

Radici Film, specializzata nella produzione di film di BOPP, ha aggiunto alla famiglia di prodotti Radil tre nuove soluzioni: Radil WS, EWZ e CLS.
Radil WS è un film coestruso termosaldabile, che trova applicazione principalmente nel confezionamento di snack e barrette di cioccolata. Ciò che lo contraddistingue è il notevole miglioramento in termini di macchinabilità, oltre alle caratteristiche di elevata barriera alla luce. Assicura inoltre un deciso impatto visivo. Radil EWZ è un film bianco espanso metallizzato ad alta brillantezza, particolarmente indicato per il mercato dei gelati e degli snack in genere, ma utilizzato con successo anche nelle applicazioni wrap-around labels.
Infine, Radil CLS è un film coestruso trasparente, disponibile sia per la stampa che per l’impiego nel settore delle bobinette.
| | Standard BOPP film
Radici Film, specialised in the production of BOPP film, has added three new solutions to the family of its Radil products: Radil WS, EWZ e CLS.
Radil WS is a heatsealable coextruded film, that mainly finds application in the packing of snacks and chocolate bars. What makes it stand out is its notable improvement in terms of machineability, as well as its high light barrier characteristics. It also has particular visual appeal. Radil EWZ is a white, metallized, high gloss expanded film, particularly suited for icecreams and the snack market in general, but also successfully used in the application of wrap around labels. Finally Radil CLS is a transparent coextruded film, available both for print and for the use in the small reel sector.

Noto distributore di carta e cartoncino, Antalis ha generato Antalis Print, un gruppo integrato, creato per rafforzare la collaborazione con i fornitori e instaurare un rapporto esclusivo con ciascuno dei 10.000 clienti. Si avvale di una rete di otto magazzini distribuiti in punti strategici del territorio nazionale, dotati dei più moderni mezzi logistici e di un sistema informatico integrato, in grado di garantire consegne in 24/48 ore. Oltre alla fornitura di 15.000 articoli di 500 marchi (per il 10% rappresentati in esclusiva) Antalis ha avviato la produzione di una propria collezione di carte. Sul fronte dei servizi va citata la piattaforma e-commerce e il centro di taglio situato a Parma, per trasformare le carte e i cartoncini da bobina al formato richiesto dal cliente.

Known distributor of paper and cardboard, Antalis has generated Antalis Print, an integrated group, created in order to reinforce the cooperation with suppliers and install an exclusive relationship with each one of its 10,000 customers. The company avails itself of a network of eight warehouses distributed in strategic point throughout Italy, fitted with modern logistical means and integrated computerised system, capable of guaranteeing delivery in 24/48 hours. As well as the supply of 15,000 articles of 500 brands (10% exclusively represented) Antalis has started up the production of its own collection of paper. On the service side of things worthy of note the e-commerce platform and the cutting centre situated at Parma, to convert the paper and cardboard from spool to the format demanded by the customer.

Yupo è una carta sintetica commercializzata da Yupo Europe GmbH, idrorepellente, resistente all’ossidazione, antistrappo, antipiega. Durevole, leggera e morbida al tatto, può essere stampata a regola d’arte con diverse tecnologie e trasformata con procedimenti di laminazione, taglio secco, goffratura e perforazione. La resistenza e l’impermeabilità ne fanno il supporto ideale per un’infinità di applicazioni, anche di imballaggio a contatto con alimenti. La gamma standard comprende diverse linee di prodotto: la FPG da 60 a 300 micron, semi-opaca su entrambi i lati; la QJJ da 400 micron, eccezionalmente robusta; la BLD opaca da 150 micron; la SGS da 80 e 110 micron, semi opaca e stampabile, ideale supporto per etichette autoadesive rimovibili; la ITE da 105 micron per l’in mould labelling.

Yupo is a synthetic paper traded by Yupo Europe GmbH, waterrepellent, oxidisation resistant, anti-tear, anti-fold. Longlasting light and soft to the touch, it is perfect for printing with all different technologies and converted with lamination procedures, dry cut, embossed and perforated. Its sturdiness and waterproofness make it an ideal support for an infinity of applications, also packaging in contact with foodstuffs. The standard range includes different lines of products: FPG from 60 to 300 micron, semi-opaque on both sides; QJJ at 400 micron, incredibly sturdy; the BLD opaque at 150 micron; the 80 to 110 micron SGS, semi opaque and printable, ideal backing for selfadhesive removable labels; the 105 micron ITE for in-mould labeling.

Special Tapes produce Steril, una gamma di nastri appositamente formulati per applicazioni nell’imballaggio e ideali anche per segnalare che una confezione è stata sottoposta a un ciclo di sterilizzazione. Il retro dei nastri è costituito da una resistente carta impregnata e semicrespata che assicura una perfetta aderenza nell’applicazione. I nastri Steril si srotolano facilmente e possono essere tagliati anche a mano senza difficoltà. L’azienda ha messo a punto speciali formulazioni di adesivi per sopportare alte temperature e umidità che assicurano una perfetta aderenza a carta, plastica, tessuti non tessuti, cartone, metalli, vetro e stoffa. I nastri sterili, una volta rimossi dopo il ciclo di sterilizzazione in autoclave non lasciano residui di colla, inoltre, gli inchiostri indicatori presenti sulla loro superficie cambiano colore a seconda del metodo di sterilizzazione a cui sono stati sottoposti: vapore, etilene, gas, calore secco o ossidazione.

Steril from Special Tapes is a range of autoclave tapes specially formulated for packing purposes as well as to show visibly that the pack has undergone a sterilization cycle. The backing of the different tapes is made of strong semicreped impregnated paper which gives excellent conformability during the application. Steril tapes unwind easily and can be torn by hand without difficulty. Special adhesives formulated to withstand high temperature and humidity ensure excellent bond to paper, plastic, non-wovens, board, metal, glass and linen. When removed after sterilization the tapes do not leave any glue residue. The indicator inks printed on the surface of the sterile tapes change colour when exposed to the parameters of the different sterilization methods: steam, ethylene oxide, gas, dry heat.

Walki Wisa è la più grande unità della divisione UPM Pack (UPM Kymmene). Nei cinque stabilimenti europei produce materiali da imballaggi politenati e accoppiati e carte per imballaggi industriali. La gamma è articolata in otto famiglie di materiali da imballaggio per il settore cartario, l’industria alimentare e tecno-chimica, l’industria del legno e dell’acciaio, dei prodotti isolanti e dell’edilizia, oltre ai prodotti cosiddetti speciali. Le proprietà delle carte Walki Wisa sono spesso eccezionali: sono infatti realizzate per proteggere dall’umidità le risme e le bobina di carta (propria e degli altri produttori) o per preservare - eventualmente accoppiate con altri materiali - l’aroma e l’integrità degli alimenti. Ma sono ideali anche per personalizzare gli imballi da trasporto o, in versione extra strong, per proteggere acciaio, carta e legno durante il trasporto.

Walki Wisa is the largest unit of the UPM Pack division (UPM Kymmene). In five European works it produces polythened and laminated materials and paper for industrial packaging. The range is divided up into eight families of packaging material for the paper sector, food industry and techno chemical industries, the wood and steel industry, insulating products and the building trade as well as so-called special products. Walki Wisa papers can have exceptional properties: they are in fact made to protect the packs and reels of paper (their own and those of other producers) from humidity, or to preserve, if need be laminated to other materials - the aroma and wholesomeness of the foodstuffs. But they are also ideal for personalising transport packaging or, in the extra strong version, for protecting steel, paper and wood during transportation.

Ci.Plast synthetizes its philosophy in the production of packing boxes for eggs which are really transparent. In fact Ci.Plast offers on the market a packing box for eggs which is not only rigid and shock-resistant and, at the same time, light and waterproof, but, moreover, since the buyer can clearly see the eggs put inside this trasparent box, he is able to verify the eggs just before buying them controlling their state of preservation, their quality and size. The transparent packing, made of polystyrene, contains the eggs as a dampening alveolus which guarantees the air circulation all around the eggs. The tray for 10 XL eggs is a key product of the Battipaglia-based company (SA), representing an absolute new feature for the market.
