Britton Banking and Security ha messo a punto una linea di soluzioni d’imballaggio personalizzate, per beni di valore come denaro contante, preziosi e documenti riservati. Cuore degli imballaggi Britton sono i due sistemi di chiusura brevettati Intervoid e Fraudeter. Il primo, considerato uno dei più avanzati attualmente disponibili sul mercato, utilizza uno speciale sigillo che, una volta aperta la busta, fornisce una chiara prova di manomissione. Denominato Intervoid V3, incorpora una serie di caratteristiche che denunciano vari tipi di “aggressione”, mentre Fraudeter, che presenta caratteristiche di base analoghe, è studiato per applicazioni più pesanti. La linea Britton si declina per materiale (trasparente, opaco o a colori), forma e formato dei contenitori, stampa e complementi. Fra questi figurano riquadri scrivibili, linguette a strappo, numerazione sequenziale ink jet e codifica a barre per una totale tracciabilità dei pacchi.

Britton Banking and Security have devised a line of personalised packaging solutions, for valuables such as cash, jewellery and other valuables and confidential documents. Heart of the Britton packaging items are the two patented closure systems Intervoid and Fraudeter. The former, considered one of the most advance of those actually available on the market, uses a special seal that, once the bag has been opened, gives clear proof of tampering. Denominated Intervoid V3, it incorporates a series of features that show up various types of “aggression”, while Fraudeter, that has the same basic features, has been devised for heavier applications. The Britton line is divided into material (transparent opaque or colored), shape and format of contents, print and complements. Among these one has writable sections, tear tabs, inkjet sequential numbering and barcodes for total traceability of the packs.

| | 1112 Etichette tubolari estensibili
ITW Auto-Sleeve realizza etichette tubolari estensibili, che trovano applicazione nei settori delle bevande (bibite analcoliche, acque minerali, latte, ecc.), detergenti e prodotti chimici. Realizzate in PE, sono resistenti all’abrasione e all’acqua e, grazie all’elevata elasticità, sono “tenute in posizione” senza bisogno di adesivi. Questa caratteristica permette inoltre di semplificare il recupero dei vari materiali durante i processi di riciclo.
Le etichette sono stampate con un massimo di dieci colori e la grafica può essere valorizzata da inchiostri speciali e vernici trasparenti ad alta brillantezza. È possibile anche applicare rivestimenti metallici a specchio, “Magic Window”, e ottenere un’ulteriore brillantezza e una maggiore resistenza allo sfregamento stampando direttamente sul retro della pellicola di PE ad elevata trasparenza.
| | Stretch sleeves
ITW Auto-Sleeve produces stretch sleeve labels used in the drinks (soft drinks, mineral water, milk, etc.), detergents and chemical products industries. Made from PE, the sleeves are scratch- and water-proof and are “held in position” without the need for adhesives thanks to their high degree of elasticity. This feature also makes it possible to simplify the recovery of the various materials during recycling.
The labels are printed with max ten colors and the graphics can be enhanced with special inks and transparent, high-shine varnishes.
It’s also possible to apply “Magic Window” mirrored metal coats and get further brightness and greater
rub resistance by printing directly
on the back of the highly transparent PE film.
| | 1113 Pellicola per alimenti grassi
Linpac ha lanciato una nuova pellicola per alimenti a elevato tenore di grassi, che impiega solo additivi approvati dalle autorità europee. Identificata da un’etichetta specifica, conserva tutte le caratteristiche classiche di protezione, permeabilità, trasparenza, autoaderenza e duttilità, anche dopo la riduzione delle percentuali di plastificante DEHA. Raccomandato dall’associazione dei produttori europei di settore, questo materiale ha superato i test di conformità presso laboratori approvati dall’Unione Europea, fra cui il francese LNE, l’olandese TNO e il britannico Pira. Le principali applicazioni riguardano sia la produzione di ricariche di pellicole e di pellicole per uso domestico; sia l’industria agroalimentare e dell’imballaggio. Le varianti per l’imballaggio sono distribuite in Italia dalla Linpac di Verona.
| | Film for fatty foods
Linpac has launched a new film for fatty foods, that only uses additives approved by the EC. Identified by a specific label, it preserves all the classic features of protection, permeability, transparency, selfadhering and flexibility, also after the reducing of the DEHA plastification potential. Recommended by the European sector producers, this material has passed the conformity tests at laboratories approved by the EC, including the French LNE, the Dutch TNO, the UK Pira. The main applications regard both the production of film replacements and film for domestic usage; as well the agrofood and packaging industry. The packaging variants are distributed in Italy by Linpac of Verona.
| | 1114 Ilapak: potenziamenti
Ilapak M.V.S. SpA, che si è costituita nel luglio 1998 a seguito di cessione di ramo di azienda della Santini Snc (azienda produttiva con pluriennale esperienza nel settore), fa parte gruppo multinazionale svizzero Ilapak (che esprime un’esperienza trentennale nel settore del packaging). In particolare, nel nuovo stabilimento di Foiano della Chiana, verranno prodotte le macchine verticali (mod. Vegatronic VT 1000, VT 2000 nelle versioni 300, 400 e 500, VT 3000 nelle versioni 300 e 400), le macchine per buste monodose mod. Alfa, nonché il software e l’hardware per il controllo. Lo stabilimento si sviluppa su 2.500 m2 con 4.000 m2 disponibili per ulteriori futuri sviluppi. L’ampliamento avviene a seguito dei considerevoli risultati ottenuti negli ultimi anni sia in termini di aumento del fatturato (+50% rispetto al 1998) sia sul piano occupazionale: la società attualmente occupa 36 dipendenti contro i 25 del 1998.
Ilapak M.V.S., che già nel 2000 si è collocata ai primi posti in Europa tra i costruttori di macchine verticali per il confezionamento, con il nuovo stabilimento raggiunge una capacità produttiva di 270 macchine per anno, oltre che offrire la possibilità di fornire intere linee di confezionamento.
| | Ilapak: boosted production
Ilapak M.V.S. SpA, set up in July 1998 after the sale of a branch of Santini Snc (a producer with many years’ experience in the industry), is part of the Swiss multinational, Ilapak (with thirty years in the packaging sector).
In particular, the new production site in Foiano della Chiana will host the lines for the new vertical machines (Vegatronic VT 1000, VT 2000 in the 300, 400 and 500 versions, VT 3000 in the 300 and 400 versions), the Alfa single-dose sachet machines, and the control software hardware. The site covers 2,500 m2 with a further 4,000 m2 available for future development. This expansion comes after considerable results in the last few years both in terms of turnover (+50% on 1998) and employment levels: the company currently employs 36 compared to 25 in 1998.
Ilapak M.V.S., which had already gained a leading position in Europe in 2000 among vertical packing machinery producers, now has output capacity of 270 machines/year with its new production site, as well as offering the chance to supply full packing lines.

Specializzata nella produzione di catene e cinghie per sistemi di trasporto industriale, Regina Sud ha messo a punto la famiglia DK di componenti per nastri trasportatori, basata su un nuovo tipo di resina acetalica Delrin, specificamente sviluppata da DuPont per i sistemi di trasporto e imbottigliamento ad alte prestazioni. Grazie al basso coefficiente di attrito e al limitato livello di usura, il Delrin permette di resistere meglio all’abrasione. Questo fa sì che le linee per contenitori di vetro, lattine o PET possano essere utilizzate in sistemi a secco, con garanzie di funzionamento per periodi più lunghi e senza interruzioni. Diminuiscono di conseguenza anche i costi relativi alla lubrificazione e all’impatto sull’ecosistema, inoltre migliora l’ambiente di lavoro.
| | Components for transportation belts
Specialized in the production of chains and belts for industrial transport systems, Regina Sud has devised the DK family of components for conveyor belts, based on a new type of Delrin acetalic resin, specially developed by DuPont for top quality bottling and transportation systems. Thanks to the low friction coefficient and the limited amount of wear and tear, Delrin is better able to tolerate abrasions. This means that the lines for glass containers, tins or PET can be used in dry systems, and be guaranteed to work for longer periods and without interruptions. Consequently not only are lubrication costs reduced but the impact on the ecosystem is lessened and working conditions improved.

Fratelli Rotta è un’impresa di Oggiono (LC) specializzata nella lavorazione di cartoncini patinati con consegna in tempi brevissimi, anche grazie al magazzino dotato di una vasta gamma di materiali in rotoli “jumbo”. Il centro di taglio della F.lli Rotta è attrezzato con cinque taglierine sincronizzate anti polvere, che permettono di fornire anche quantitativi minimi, e di allestire il prodotto numerato per fogli con pallet su misura. Fra i molti tipi di cartone disponibili, il patinato retro bianco GC1 ad alto spessore, con grammature standard fra 200 e 400, trova impiego soprattutto nei settori cosmetico, farmaceutico, grafico e delle sigarette, ma è adatto anche al contatto con alimenti non grassi e secchi. È formato da uno strato interno di pasta meccanica bianchita al perossido, fra due strati di pasta chimica, con una patinatura a lama inferiore e una doppia patina superiore.

Fratelli Rotta is an Oggiono (LC) based company specialised in processing of glossy cardboard offfering prompt delivery times, also thanks to a warehouse fitted with a vast range of material in jumbo rolls. The F.lli Rotta cutting centre is fitted out with five synchronised anti-dust cutters, that also enables the supply of minimum quantities and stacking of products numbered by sheets on special pallets, with a standard basis weight of from 200 to 400, that are used aboveall in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, graphics sector and in the cigarette industry, but it is also suited to contact with non fat dry foodstuffs. It is formed by an inner layer of peroxide whitened mechanical pulp, between two layers of chemical pulp, with a lower bladed gloss and double gloss on the upper part.

Saint Gobain-Calmar ha lanciato tre nuovi erogatori a pistola, evoluzione di precedenti modelli già affermati. TS 800 UltraErgo presenta un involucro esterno composto da due parti che consente illimitate combinazioni di colore e conseguenti plus di personalizzazione. TS 800 ErgoPlus, studiato per flaconi meno alti e sinuosi, è caratterizzato dalla lunghezza ridotta dell’involucro esterno e da uno spessore maggiore, con curve ergonomiche per un’impugnatura confortevole. Il motore interno è lo stesso del TS 800, rinomato per affidabilità, numero limitato di attuazioni all’innesco ed elevata compatibilità con le diverse formulazioni. Tutti i TS 800 presentano una vasta gamma di configurazioni con inserti di spruzzo spray, schiuma, spray/getto e spray/schiuma. Infine, Mixor HP (High Profile) presenta un’erogazione maggiorata di 1.6 ml e un’elevata compatibilità con prodotti chimici aggressivi.

Saint Gobain-Calmar has launched three new gun dispensers, evolutions of previous successful models. The TS 800 UltraErgo has an external casing consisting of two parts that allow for unlimited combinations of color and hence great scope for personalisation.
The TS 800 ErgoPlus, developed for shorter, less sinuous bottles, features a short external casing and greater thickness, with ergonomic curves for a comfortable grip. The internal motor is the same as that in the TS 800, renowned for its reliability, limited number of triggering and great compatibility with different formulations.
All the TS 800 models have a vast range of configurations with spray, foam, spray/jet and spray/foam inserts.
Finally, the Mixor HP (High Profile) offers 1.6 ml boosted delivery and excellent compatibility with aggressive chemical products.

Forte di una lunga esperienza nel confezionamento in atmosfera protettiva, Siad ha messo a punto la linea di gas Foodline, costituita da azoto, anidride carbonica, ossigeno e relative miscele, studiate per applicazioni specifiche o sviluppate ad hoc. L’azienda, basata a Bergamo e con uffici e stabilimenti in tutta Italia, fornisce gas puri e a norma di legge, eventualmente integrati con gli impianti e i materiali più idonei.
