New Look Packaging produces and fills packaging, especially thermoformed and heatsealed packs, designed with particular care paid to protecting the environment. The most eco-friendly is the two-valve Eco-Pack blister pack, produced to satisfy the criteria set down in EC Directive 94/62, featuring a form of sealing using a single material without the need for lacquers or glues. At a price very similar to conventional blister packs, the Eco-Pack offers high protection and excellent presentation of the product. This is a 100% recyclable, tamper-evident pack. In addition to the Eco-Pack, the range of New Look products includes book-type blister packs; conventional blister packs (card+valve); skin-packs with sürling backing; thermoformed containers for special and industrial uses, made from transparent, coloured or flocked materials; thermoformed and customised counter displays; various heatshrink packaging solutions.

Le proprietà strutturali ed estetiche dell’Invercote Albato della Iggesund Paperboard sono testimoniate dalla bella brochure distribuita al pubblico all’ultimo Luxe Pack. Levigatezza superiore, punto di bianco molto alto, eccellente idoneità alla fustellatura e cordonatura, quasi completa assenza di polvere, sono le caratteristiche di questo cartoncino che vanta, infine, una superiore resa dell’immagine. Iggesund Paperboard (Gruppo Holmen) è uno dei primi produttori europei di cartone di alta qualità a base di fibre vergini. Con tre fabbriche, in Svezia e Gran Bretagna, e una gamma completa di servizi, opera nei diversi mercati del lusso (soprattutto col marchio Invercote), alimentare e articoli diversi, con uno sbocco anche in applicazioni tecniche che richiedono cartoncino variamente accoppiato e trattato.

The structural and aesthetic properties of the Invercote Albato product from Iggesund Paperboard were reflected in the attractive brochure distributed to the public at the recent Luxe Pack. Superior smoothness, an extremely high white point, excellent suitability for die-cutting and creasing and a virtually total absence of powder are the features of this card that also boasts superior image rendering. Iggesund Paperboard (part of the Holmen Group) is among the top European producers of high quality, virgin fibre card. With three factories, in Sweden and Great Britain, and a full range of services, it operates on various luxury markets (especially with the Invercote brand), as well as the food and miscellaneous other product markets, with even an outlet in technical applications where various types of laminated and treated card are required.

Ciba Specialty Chemicals, azienda leader nel settore chimico, ha brevettato una nuova tecnologia di produzione che conferisce agli imballaggi di carta, cartone e carta sagomata elevate prestazioni in fatto di repellenza all’acqua e alle sostanze oleose, stabilendo così nuovi standard di protezione. Ciba Lodyne 2000, un fluorochimico a base acqua, è solo il primo di una serie di prodotti innovativi che l’azienda lancerà nel prossimo futuro e trova impiego soprattutto nel campo dell’imballaggio alimentare, risultando particolarmente adatto alla realizzazione di contenitori di cibi take-away e per fast-food, dalle scatole per pizza ai sacchetti per le patatine fritte. L’utilizzo di Ciba Lodyne 2000 a diretto contatto con gli alimenti è stato approvato dalla US Food & Drug Administration.

Ciba Specialty Chemicals, a leader in the chemical sector, has patented a new production technology that gives paper, cardboard and cut paper packaging high performance in terms of repelling water and oily substances, thus establishing new standards of protection. Ciba Lodyne 2000, a water-based fluorochemical, is only the first of a whole series of innovative products that this company will launch in the near future and which can be used mainly in the food sector, being particularly suitable for the production of containers for take-away and fast-food meals, from pizza boxes to bags for French fries. The use of Ciba Lodyne 2000 in direct contact with food has been approved by the US Food & Drug Administration.

Bormioli Luigi mette alla prova la propria maestria nella lavorazione del vetro realizzando l’originale boccetta a forma di pullover di Rykiel Rose, progettata da Alain De Mourgues per il profumo della griffe parigina. Grazie alla realizzazione di uno stampo speciale, la vetreria parmense ha ottenuto superfici e angoli incurvati e la non semplice distribuzione uniforme di una notevole quantità di vetro in tutte le parti del contenitore.
È di Bormioli Luigi anche il packaging di O.Zone di Sergio Tacchini (Morris): un’emisfera di vetro trasparente incastonata in un bordo protettivo colorato, di plastica come la chiusura (Valneri Design). Il cuore di vetro di O.Zone deve essere realizzato con la massima precisione e comunica trasparenza e leggerezza.

Bormioli Luigi has tested its expertise in glass-working by producing an original pullover-shaped bottle for Rykiel Rose, designed by Alain De Mourgues for the fragrance from this French house. Thanks to the production of a special mould, the Parma-based glassworks has created curved surfaces and angles, as well as the by no means easy even distribution of a large amount of glass in all parts of the container.
Bormioli Luigi has also produced the packaging for O.Zone by Sergio Tacchini (Morris): a transparent glass hemisphere encased in a protective colored border made from plastic, as is the seal (Valneri Design). Production of O.Zone’s glass heart requires maximum precision and communicates transparency and lightness.

Il gruppo Sicad è specializzato nella produzione di nastri adesivi, a base di gomma naturale o sintetica, acrilico solvente e acrilico acqua. Fondato nel 1972, oggi si presenta come realtà certificata ISO 9002, articolata in una casa madre, basata a Uboldo (VA), e tre filiali in Croazia (nastri a base di gomma naturale), Sudafrica (hot melt) e Brasile (nastri acrilici a base acqua e solvente). Ad esse si aggiungono la partecipazione al 50% in un gruppo internazionale con due unità produttive in Italia, dove si realizzano nastri per mascheratura in solvente e nastri da imballaggio in hot melt, e le consociate Special Tapes (nastri tecnici), Eurocast (film estensibile per l’imballaggio) e SGD (commercializzazione di prodotti per la GD). The Sicad group has specialised in the production of adhesive tapes made from natural or synthetic rubber, solvent-based acrylic and water-based acrylic. Set up in 1972, today it can boast ISO 9002 certification and consists of the parent company in Uboldo (Varese) and three branches in Croatia (natural rubber tapes), South Africa (hot melt) and Brazil (water and solvent-based acrylic tapes). It also has a 50% holding in an international group with two production units in Italy, where solvent-based masking tapes and hot melt packaging tapes are manufactured, and the sister companies Special Tapes (industrial tapes), Eurocast (stretch film for packaging) and SGD (marketing of products for broad-scale distribution). Valorising of human resources, care for the environment and constant updating of IT are the main features of the development of this company.
