 Dalle macchine agli inchiostri
Due nuovi modelli di stampanti per film plastici e due nuovi inchiostri fluidi per la codifica sicura. Ecco le novità in casa Willett.
Stampanti a trasferimento termico
La gamma di stampanti per film plastici serie 280 è stata ampliata con l’introduzione dei nuovi modelli 282 e 285, disegnati e realizzati per essere facilmente integrati in tutte le confezionatrici orizzontali o verticali, a moto intermittente o continuo. I vantaggi derivanti dal loro utilizzo sono stati già riscontrati da numerosi utenti che hanno drasticamente ridotto le giacenze a magazzino di imballaggi plastici flessibili pre-stampati. Infatti, grazie all’impiego delle sovrastampanti Willett serie 280, riprodurre testi, logos, o codici a barre su materiali neutri è estremamente semplice. Inoltre, un innovativo sistema di risparmio foil abbatte sensibilmente i costi di stampa, senza tuttavia compromettere la qualità. Precisione, affidabilità e elevata velocità di stampa, sia nelle versioni intermittenti sia nelle versioni continue, fanno delle Willett 282/285 apparecchiature che non temono confronti.
CIJ UV Ink
Questo inchiostro produce una codifica di color magenta appena visibile ad occhio nudo, quando utilizzato su superfici scure, ma che appare chiaramente visibile se esposto ad una fonte di luce a raggi UV. Tale peculiarità lo rende ideale per codifiche discrete. Inoltre, le sue proprietà di adesione ne favoriscono l’impiego su superfici plastiche, vetro e metalli. UV Ink è stato già utilizzato con ottimi risultati per applicazioni in cui la contraffazione dei prodotti rappresenta un serio problema.
CIJ Glass bottle black
Nel settore delle bevande e, in particolare in quello della birra, si ha l’esigenza di codificare direttamente sulle bottiglie di vetro dopo il loro riempimento. Spesso, però, a causa dell’umidità che si crea sulle bottiglie, è difficile codificare sul vetro. Willett ha risposto a questa problematica con l’inchiostro “Glass bottle black”, ideato per aderire sulle bottiglie di vetro anche in presenza di condensa sulla superficie o dopo il processo di lavaggio prima del loro riempimento. Una volta asciutte le bottiglie, le codifiche realizzate con Glass bottle black risulteranno perfettamente leggibili. Nel caso sia necessario riutilizzare le bottiglie in un nuovo ciclo produttivo, l’inchiostro può essere rimosso utilizzando una speciale soluzione.

Heat transfer printers
The range of series 280 printers for plastic film has been extended with the introduction of two new models: the 282 and the 285. Designed and produced for easy integration in all horizontal and vertical packing machines, with jogging or continuous feed. The advantages to be had from using these have already been experienced by the many users who’ve been able to drastically cut their stock on hand of pre-printed flexible plastic packaging. In fact, thanks to the use of Willett series 280 overprinters, it’s now become really easy to reproduce copy, logos and barcodes on neutral materials. What’s more, an innovative foil saving systems significantly cuts printing costs without, in any case, compromising quality levels. Precision, dependability and high printing speeds, both in the jogging and continuous versions, make the Willett 282/285 printers unbeatable.
CIJ UV Ink
This ink produces a magenta colour code that’s just visible to the naked eye, but which is clearly visible when exposed to a source of UV light. This makes it ideal for discrete coding. Moreover, its adhesive qualities make it suitable for use on glass, plastic and metal surfaces. UV Ink has already been used to great effect in applications where counterfeit products is a serious problem.

In the drinks sector, and the beer sector in particular, there is a need to code the glass bottles directly after filling. Often, however, owing to condensation after filling, it becomes very difficult to code glass bottles. Willett has come up with the answer to this problem with its “Glass bottle black” ink, conceived to stick to glass bottles even when affected by condensation on the surface or after the washing process before their actual filling. Once the bottles have dried, the codes made with Glass bottle black are perfectly legible. If the bottle needs to be reused in a new production cycle, the ink can be easily removed using a special solution. |
