508 Sleeve con effetti speciali
La britannica Decorative Sleeves, che produce un’ampia gamma di etichette sleeve, anche in versione tamper evident e per usi promozionali, ha recentemente messo a punto degli inchiostri con effetti speciali. Le recenti innovazioni riguardano inchiostri che risultano luminosi al buio o con effetto perlescente o brillante.
Secondo Decorative Sleeves, i recenti sviluppi nelle tecniche di decorazione hanno contribuito a diffondere la popolarità delle sleeve per svariati tipi di prodotti. Non a caso l’aumento della domanda ha portato l’azienda ad adottare una nuova macchina da stampa flexo UV nel proprio stabilimento di Kings Lynn. Le sleeve “visibili al buio” sono state presentate di recente in occasione di Hispack.

Sleeve with special effects
The UK concern Decorative Sleeves, that produces a broad range of sleeve labels, also in tamper evident versions for promotional use, has recently devised some special effects inks. Latest ink innovations include glow-in-the-dark, pearlescent and sparkle effects.
Decorative Sleeves says these enhanced decoration techniques are one reason for the increasing popularity of sleeves for many types of products. The growth in demand has also led to installation of the state-of-the-art UV flexo press at its Kings Lynn factory.
Glow-in-the-dark sleeves are one of the special ink effects on show from Decorative Sleeves at Hispack.

509 Scatole con separatori
L’olandese VMT Ecopackaging produce le scatole Ecopacks e Stacking, dotate di vari modelli di separatori ed ideali per il contenimento di parti di ricambio nel settore automobilistico. I separatori possono essere realizzati in plastica ondulata o Con-Pearl, in combinazione con materiali non tessuti per le parti delicate o con strisce di schiuma se i componenti devono restare immobili. I separatori vengono sviluppati e prodotti secondo le varie esigenze, risultando così completamente “a misura del cliente”. Per ridurre i costi di trasporto, inoltre, anche i separatori possono essere realizzati in versione pieghevole, in combinazione con il sistema Ecopack. Gli inserti sono costruiti per i vari sistemi Ecopack (le misure standard sono 1200x800 e 1200x1000 mm, ma sono disponibili anche modelli più grandi, come ad esempio 1600x1200 e 1800x1200 mm).

Boxes with inserts
VMT Ecopackaging (NL) produces Ecopacks and Stacking containers with various types of inserts and ideal for automotive spare parts.
These inserts can be made of corrugated plastic or Con-Pearl, combined with non-woven material for delicate parts or with foamstrips to immobilise the components. The inserts are developed and produced conforming to customers’ requirements, leading to a totally “made-to-measure” product.
In combination with the Ecopack systems the inserts can also be made collapsible to lower transport costs. The inserts are made for all the different Ecopack systems (standard measures are 1200x800 and 1200x1000 mm, but they are also available for the lager systems such as for example 1600x1200 and 1800x1200 mm).

Lake Paper have managed to marry high volume and great stability in an extra smooth paper. 512 Casse di plastica per boccioni
Wavin Lash (membro del gruppo Schoeller Wavin Systems, produttore di sistemi di plastica a rendere per birra, soft drink, frutta e verdura, componenti per auto, prodotti da toeletta ecc.) dall’inizio dell’anno, fornisce direttamente, e non più attraverso un distributore, le casse di plastica per boccioni d’acqua da 19 litri. Per il trasporto di queste bottiglie sono spesso utilizzate strutture di acciaio, legno o alluminio, che però possono presentare rischi di corrosione o sviluppo di batteri, oltre ad essere poco flessibili e ingombranti. Ogni cassa della Lash può invece contenere quattro boccioni e l’unione di due strutture forma un’unità maneggevole. Si possono impilare fino a 10 casse per realizzare un sistema di magazzinaggio stabile, che richiede uno spazio limitato e che, soprattutto, può essere spostato in qualsiasi momento a mano o tramite carrelli elevatori. Le casse per quattro bottiglie misurano 1,000 x 600 x 366 mm, ma la società ha previsto anche il lancio di una struttura per otto bottiglie (1,000 x 1,200 x 366 e 1,000 x 1,200 x 401 mm).

Plastic crates for bottles
From the beginning of the year Wavin Lash, member of the Schoeller Wavin Systems group, which develops and produces innovative, cost-saving plastic return systems for beer, soft drinks, vegetables, fruit, car parts, toiletries etc, has been supplying their successful plastic water crates for 19-litre water bottles direct, without going through a dealer. Steel, wooden and aluminium racks are still often used for the storage, transport and distribution of the bottles. This however has some disadvantages, such as corrosion and the risk of bacteria growth. Such racks are also rather inflexible and take up a lot of space. Thanks to Lash’s water crates four bottles can be placed in each crate and two crates together form an easily manageable unit. Stacked (up to 10 high) the crates form a solid, stable warehouse storage unit that takes up less space than a rack. The stack can be taken apart at any time using a forklift truck. The crates for four bottles measure 1,000 x 600 x 366 mm. Wavin Lash will be soon introducing a new water crate, which will take eight bottles measuring 1,000 x 1,200 x 366 and 1,000 x 1,200 x 401 mm.

Mitsubishi Electric, Divisione Factory Automation, ha arricchito la propria offerta di pannelli operatore con due interfacce grafiche dotate di tastiera a membrana (mod. F920GOT-BBD5-K-E e mod. F930GOT-BBD5-K-E). Il primo è tra i più piccoli pannelli operatore grafici industriali esistenti, con display grafico a due colori (bianco/blu) di soli 2,6”, dotato di tecnologia “White/Red LED” a doppia retroilluminazione, con 128x64 pixel (4x14 caratteri), in grado di visualizzare Bitmap. Dotato di 6 tasti funzione configurabili, tastiera numerica, tasti cursore e comando, garantisce un’elevata visibilità.
Il secondo combina il display con le tastiere touch-screen e a membrana. Anch’esso presenta un display a due colori retroilluminato (in questo caso da 240x80 pixel, 5x30 caratteri), e dispone di 8 tasti funzione configurabili, tastiera numerica, tasti cursore e comando. Le etichette dei tasti configurabili possono essere facilmente disegnate e sostituite.

Operator panels with membrane keyboard
The Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Division has added to its range of operator panels with two graphic interfaces fitted with membrane keyboard (mod. F920GOT-BBD5-K-E and mod. F930GOT-BBD5-K-E). The former is among the smallest industrial operator panels existing, with two color graphics display (white/blue) that is only 2,6”, fitted with “White/Red LED” double rear-lit technology, with 128x64 pixels (4x14 characters), capable of displaying Bitmap. Fitted with 6 configurable function keys, numerical keys, cursor and command keys, the interface offers high visibility.
The latter combines display and touch-screen and membrane keyboards. This too has a rear-lit two color display (in this case 240x80 pixel, 5x30 characters), and has 8 configurable function keys, numerical keyboard, cursor and command keys. The command key labels can be easily drawn on and substituted.

514 Mototamburo con encoder
Rulli Rulmeca presenta una nuova versione di mototamburo, con encoder incorporato per il controllo della velocità e del posizionamento del nastro nei trasportatori. La soluzione funziona con uno speciale cuscinetto sensore, posizionato sull’asse e contenente un elemento che fornisce dei segnali proporzionali alla rotazione del motore (il numero di impulsi è pari a 32 ad ogni giro dell’asse). Il segnale inviato a un’unità esterna - convertitore di frequenza, PC o altro - permette la registrazione o il feedback. I vantaggi riscontrati nell’applicazione dell’encoder sono: soluzione semplice per il controllo di velocità e/o posizionamento, determinazione della direzione di rotazione e delle accelerazioni/decelerazioni, protezione dell’encoder all’interno del mototamburo, design compatto e resistenza agli urti. Rulli Rulmeca offre questa soluzione (ideale nei settori alimentare, imballaggio, pesatura dinamica e sincronizzazione dei convogliatori) per i mototamburi di diametro 138 mm, in tutte le esecuzioni standard in acciaio o inox.

Motorised drum with encoder
Rulli Rulmeca presents a new type of motorised drum with an incorporated encoder to allow for speed control and control of the position of conveyor belts. This solution uses a special detector bearing placed on the axle which contains an element that produces signal in step with the rotation of the motor (32 pulses for each full turn of the axle). This signal is sent to an external unit - frequency converter, PC etc. - that allows for recording or feedback. This encoder offers the following advantages: a simple solution for controlling speed and/or positioning, determination of the direction of rotation and any acceleration/deceleration, encoder protection inside the motorised drum, a compact and shockproof design. Rulli Rulmeca offers this solution (ideal for food, dynamic weighing and conveyor synchronising) for 138 mm diameter motorised drums, in all standard versions (steel or stainless steel).
