| | | | | | |  | | | Axomatic promette grandi novità e ne annuncia il lancio ufficiale per la prossima primavera, quando saranno terminati anche il nuovo insediamento industriale e il reparto di Ricerca & Sviluppo dove sottoporre le macchine - oltre che agli attuali, severi test di funzionamento - anche alla sperimentazione in condizioni operative. L’azienda di Milano sta infatti costruendo la prima serie di una nuova linea di intubettatrici definite “rivoluzionarie”, che presentano novità tecniche di rilievo, sia meccaniche che elettroniche. «Si tratta - anticipa il titolare dell’azienda, Luca Olivieri - di una soluzione che riunisce sotto la medesima scocca caratteristiche sino ad ora proprie dei modelli di maggior pregio, con risultati qualitativi ineccepibili e costi molto più competitivi». Ecco cosa se ne può dire, senza rovinare la sorpresa.
Modularità ed economicità
Tralasciata ogni enfasi sulla velocità operativa («bisogna fare attenzione a non “dare i numeri” - sottolinea l’esperto Bruno Olivieri - quando si sa che la media reale del settore è intorno agli 80 pcs/min»), i plus che caratterizzano il nuovo progetto sono consistenti. «In fatto di igienicità, sicurezza, e facilità di cambio formato, piuttosto che di estetica, le nostre macchine sono sempre state all’avanguardia. Lo stesso si può dire dei requisiti di solidità e affidabilità», afferma il responsabile dell’ufficio tecnico, Stefano Morelli, ricordando che tutte le macchine Axomatic sono corredate di 3 anni di garanzia. E aggiunge: «possiamo anticipare che la nuova serie di intubettatrici Axomatic è stata progettata seguendo criteri di modularità spinta, che conferisce ai vari modelli una flessibilità superiore alla media». Fra l’altro, le macchine saranno dotate di serie di molti optional dei modelli precedenti, come, per esempio, la possibilità di accettare tubetti extra-large, con un diametro di 60 mm.
«In questo modo - spiega Olivieri - contiamo di offrire ai clienti una macchina in grado di svolgere più funzioni allo stesso prezzo. Dal nostro punto di vista, inoltre, la concezione modulare agevola gli interventi di personalizzazione richiesti per rispondere alle esigenze di marketing o di produzione degli utilizzatori».
In deroga alla riservatezza che circonda, di necessità, ogni nuovo progetto, possiamo poi anticipare che verranno adottati nuovi componenti meccanici ed elettronici che incideranno in maniera rilevante sulla competitività di queste macchine e che traineranno tutta la gamma.
Ma non è che un inizio, infatti le ultime esperienze hanno portato Axomatic a sviluppare un ulteriore nuovo progetto che riguarda una macchina multipla, ovvero a più canali, da 500/600 pezzi/min. «Sarà una macchina di concezione meccanica ma controllata elettronicamente, con assi elettrici, adeguati comandi e motorizzazioni» anticipa Luca Olivieri, «che lanceremo quanto prima».
Le strutture rinnovate
I nuovi progetti costituiscono il primo passo ufficiale di un’azienda rinnovata nelle strutture e nell’organizzazione. Axomatic si presenta oggi come un’azienda hi-tech, con classe di fatturato fra i 5 e i 10 miliardi, una ventina di dipendenti e una dirigenza giovane, guidata da Luca Olivieri direttore generale e “figlio d’arte” e Federica Dal Santo, responsabile commerciale.
I due manager sono anche contitolari dell’azienda e con i recenti interventi strutturali mostrano di puntare in alto. «Stiamo ultimando il nuovo stabilimento che occuperà circa 3.000 m2 - spiega Luca Olivieri - e comprende una palazzina che ospiterà uffici e show room. Grazie a questi investimenti, alla cura dedicata alla costruzione di ciascun elemento tramite l’impiego di sofisticate macchine utensili, e alla meticolosa messa a punto di ogni macchina consegnata - grazie a un’efficiente organizzazione tecnica e del lavoro - contiamo di consolidare un primo risultato di 50 macchine all’anno».
La loro commercializzazione in Italia è affidata alla So.pack, una società autonoma con sede a Bologna, fondata da un pool di aziende complementari in grado di offrire linee complete. Il mercato estero, che rappresenta attualmente un 80% del fatturato globale, è invece seguito da agenti qualificati presenti in oltre 25 paesi, e da una filiale diretta per Cina e Asia.
Questa struttura risponde a un intento che sottende a tutte le iniziative della società, e che Olivieri sintetizza così: «proporsi oggi nel mercato globale significa avere cura del progetto, della propria azienda, e soprattutto del cliente e delle sue esigenze, garantendo serietà e un ottimo servizio post-vendita».
Un target a tutto tondo
Il “bersaglio” che Axomatic si propone di colpire con le macchine e i servizi presentati è molto ampio e virtualmente comprende tutti gli utilizzatori di tubetti flessibili - di metallo, politene o laminato - perlopiù destinati ai settori farmaceutico, cosmetico, alimentare e chimico. Inoltre, quando si parla di tubetti non va dimenticato che esiste una variegata serie di imballaggi affini, come i dispenser, le siringhe usa e getta per silicone, paste adesive, prodotti per odontotecnici, prodotti bi-componente, ecc.
La domanda mondiale di questa tipologia di imballaggio è, nel complesso, stabile ma orientata verso un incremento costante.
«In questo contesto - afferma Olivieri - i nostri punti di forza sono una gestione diretta e completa di tutto il ciclo produttivo, sostenuta da un’esperienza trentennale, e la capacità di percepire in anticipo ogni variazione nelle tendenze del mercato. Abbinate alla migliore tecnologia disponibile».

The design of tube-filling machines is about to take another turn in order to guarantee quality and competitive costs. Run-down of a company that has carefully planned its relaunch and that promises new features bound to make a noise.
Axomatic promises some striking new features setting the official launch date for next spring, on termination that is of their new industrial site and R&D department where their machines will undergo testing in working conditions - this in addition to the company’s already existing exhaustive function tests. The Milan-based company is in fact involved in building its first series of a new line of tube-fillers, defined as “revolutionary”, offering a series of key new features both in mechanics and electronics: as company head Luca Olivieri anticipated: «It is a solution that combines features in the same body up to now only seen in top rate machines. The new series allows us to offer even greater quality while being more competitive on the cost side of things». This is what can be said without ruining the surprise.
Modular and economic
Leaving out any question of talk on work speeds («We don’t want to give away too much at this stage - it being full well known that the actual sector average is around 80 pcs/min»), expert Bruno Olivieri went on to mention the considerable plus points that feature in the new project. «In fact, in terms of hygiene, safety and format change facilities as well as appearance our machines have always had the leading edge. The same can be said of the solidity and reliability requisites». Technical office head Stefano Morelli reminded us that all Axomatic machines come with a three-year guarantee while he added «I can say that the new Axomatic tube-filling series has been designed following the most stringent modular construction principles, a feature that gives the machines a flexibility well above average». Among the other things the machines will carry many optionals from the preceding models, as for example, «the facility to work extra-large tubes with a diameter of 60 mm». In this way Olivieri explains, «We intend offering our customers a machine capable of carrying out more than one operation at the same price: from our point of view furthermore, its modular design makes any customisation work that need be done to suit marking and production needs of the user a lot easier».
Getting around the reservedness that as need be surrounds all new projects, we can say that the new electronic and mechanical components considerably boost the competitivity of these machines, and that they are liable to draw the entire range with them. But this is only the beginning of things, in actual fact Axomatic’s latest experience have led the company to develop another new project that involves a multiple, multi-nozzle machine that can process 500/600 pcs/min soon to be launched. As Luca Olivieri told us, «This new machine will be of mechanical conception albeit electronically controlled with electrical axes, with suitably graded controls and motorization» .
The renewed structure
The new projects constitute the first official step of a company that has recently put its structure and organization through complete overhaul. Axomatic now offers itself to the market as a hi-tech company with a turnover between 5 and 10 billions, some twenty employees and a young management team guided by Luca Olivieri, general manager born into the trade, and Federica Dal Santo, commercial head.
The two managers are also co-owners of the company. The recent structural changes show they are aiming high. «We are finishing the new works that cover around 3,000 m2 - Luca Olivieri explains - including a building housing offices and showrooms. Thanks to these investments, to the care used in building each element by way of the use of sophisticated machinetools, to the meticulous tooling up of each machine delivered - and thanks to an efficient technical and work organisation - we count on an initial result of placing some 50 machines a year».
Their trading in Italy is entrusted to So.pack, an independent Bologna-based company that offers complete lines, founded by a pool of complementary concerns. The foreign market, that accounts for more than 80% of overall turnover, is in turn covered by qualified agents in over 25 countries and by a direct branch for China and Asia.
This structure responds to the general intent that accompanies all the company’s undertakings and that Olivieri sums up as follows: «Offering oneself today in the global market means aboveall taking great care in design and planning, great care in ones own company, and aboveall great care of the customer and his needs, guaranteeing a businesslike approach and an excellent post sales service».
An all-round target
Axomatic has set itself the task of bringing its machines and service to a wide target that virtually includes all flexible tube users - metal polythene or laminate - for the most destined for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and chemical sector. Furthermore, speaking of tubes also brings one to related packaging items such as dispensers, disposable syringes for silicon, adhesive paste, odontotechnical products and bi-component products.
The world demand for this type of packaging is generally stable overall, though showing inclination towards an increase «In this context - Olivieri goes on to say - where we win through is in our complete and direct control over all our production cycles, this backed up by thirty years experience and the capacity to perceive any variations in market trends in advance. And of course we are offering the best technology available».
