News STRATEGIE Dall’inizio del nuovo anno le due divisioni di prodotto che rappresentano l’offerta di Pepperl+Fuchs GmbH per l’automazione industriale acquisiscono nuova autonomia. La nuova struttura della Factory Automation in Italia e le ultime proposte a Ipack-Ima. D.B. Nuovi dirigenti, progetti dedicati e un super manager di “cluster” per il Sud Europa: dal primo gennaio la divisione Factory Automation di Pepperl+Fuchs acquisisce una propria, completa, autonomia, annunciata lo scorso dicembre in un evento organizzato ad hoc a Milano. Pur continuando a far capo alla medesima proprietà (saldamente nelle mani delle due famiglie Pepperl e Fuchs), dunque, Factory Automation e Process Automation saranno meglio distinte e più chiaramente connotate a tutti i livelli gerarchici e funzionali: gestionale, di strategia commerciale e di approccio alla clientela. In particolare, ciascuna delle Regional Sales Area in cui si articolano le attività corporate nel mondo, avrà un direttore vendite per la Divisione Process e uno per la Factory, e altrettanti direttori finanziari, che risponderanno al top management tedesco. Più’ carburante alla FA La scelta della Pepperl+Fuchs Elcon di creare una realtà interamente dedicata all’automazione di fabbrica nasce dalla constatazione, verificata “sul campo”, che le esigenze e le dinamiche di mercato riguardanti la Factory Automation sono ben distinte da quelle della Process Automation. «Per fornire dunque ai clienti soluzioni ancora più mirate ed efficaci - spiega Marc Waltisperger, di recente nominato regional sales director per l’area del Sud Europa - la divisione Automazione di Fabbrica è stata suddivisa in cinque settori distinti, ciascuno con un proprio responsabile di riferimento: Automotive e Material Handling; Packaging; Process Equipment; Print & Paper; Door, Gate & Elevator». In Italia questa struttura si rispecchia nel nuovo staff responsabile dell’automazione di fabbrica in Pepperl+Fuchs, guidato dal direttore Domenico Cotugno. Questa scelta ha fatto tesoro delle competenze specifiche maturate nei vari ambiti, e i frutti non sono mancati, a partire dal considerevole ampliamento del parco clienti e dalla crescita a due cifre del fatturato. E, ora, si riparte dai prodotti, contando sulle opportunità di promozione offerte dall’imminente vetrina di Ipack-Ima e sulla forza di un’offerta - sottolinea Cotugno - che, grazie al supporto della casa madre tedesca, si arricchisce di numerosi prodotti innovativi nelle varie linee (dai vari tipi di sensori alle fotocellule, fino alle barriere di sicurezza) a un prezzo favorevole». E a Ipack-Ima molte novità Ecco, per grandi famiglie, le soluzioni più innovative. • Sensori intelligenti - Il sensore lineare F90 disponibile con tecnologia induttiva/capacitiva, garantisce precisioni elevate, insensibilità allo sporco e viene utilizzato per determinare spostamenti lineari di oggetti (es spessori di lamiere,controlli d’ansa etc). • Fotocellule - Viene proposta la gamma standard Viso+, dotata di cinque caratteristiche aggiuntive: segnalazione visiva LED particolarmente visibile; LED verde per power-on; insensibilità alla luce ambiente; protezione contro la mutua interferenza; uscita push-pull. I prodotti offerti col marchio Viso+ sono le fotocellule della serie: RL28, MLV12, VL18, ML7 e MLV41. • Sensori a ultrasuoni - Disponibili in tre versioni: cilindrici, rettangolari e con caratteristiche speciali (rilevamento del doppio foglio). Pepperl+Fuchs ha realizzato sensori cilindrici corti (solo 40 mm) con elevata capacità di risposta (<12 ms), area di zona cieca molto bassa, risoluzioni da 0,13 mm e distanze di lavoro regolabili fino a 6 m da selezionare nelle versioni disponibili. In particolare, la serie F12 consente di impostare la dimensione del cono di suono (largo/stretto) e può sincronizzare fino a 10 sensori tra loro per evitare la mutua interferenza. I sensori a rilevamento del doppio foglio hanno caratteristiche speciali: sono insensibili ai colori, alla stampa o a superfici riflettenti, sono attivabili tramite teach-in, possono rilevare diversi tipi di materiali (carta velina, foglio d’alluminio o di plastica). Sono inoltre dotati di tre uscite per: nessun foglio, presenza di un foglio, presenza del doppio foglio (o colla). • Soluzioni per la sicurezza - Pepperl+Fuchs offre barriere e una ampia gamma di prodotti per la sicurezza uomo in abbinamento a centraline di controllo denominate Safe Box. • Sistemi di identificazione - Una recente acquisizione arricchisce il portafoglio prodotti nell’ambito dei lettori di codici bidimensionali Data Matrix. Questo tipo di codice si sta affermando rapidamente, vista la necessità di inserire un numero sempre maggiore di informazioni in uno spazio ridotto. Tra i vantaggi derivati dal suo impiego ricordiamo la scalabilità delle dimensioni di ogni simbolo, la leggibilità con bassi contrasti, la possibilità di adattamento a varie tipologie di stampanti nonché la possibilità di operare trasferimenti elettronici dei dati. The products offered with the Viso+brand are the photocells of the series: RL28, MLV12, VL18, ML7 e MLV41. • Ultrasonic sensors - Available in three versions: cylindrical, rectangular and with special characteristics – double sheet. Pepperl+Fuchs have created short cylindrical sensors (only 40 mm) with high response capacity (<12 ms), low blind spot rating, 0.13 mm resolution and adjustable working distance up to 6 m. In particular, the F12 series enables the setting of the dimension of the sonic cone (broad, narrow) and can synchronise up to 10 sensors together to avoid mutual interference. The sensors with special characteristics are insensitive to colors, print or to reflecting surfaces, can be activated via teach-in, can pick-up different types of materials (tracing paper, aluminium foil or plastic sheeting). They are also fitted with three outlets for: how sheet, presence of sheet, presence of double sheet (or glue). • Solutions for safety - Pepperl+Fuchs offers safety barriers (for fingers or hands) combined to the Safe box control cabinets. • Identification systems - A recent acquisition enriches Pepperl+Fuchs’ portfolio within bidimensional codes Data Matrix readers. This type of code is rapidly becoming more popular, given the need to insert an ever greater amount of information in a limited space. Among the advantages derived from its use we cite the possibility of scaling the dimensions of each symbol, readability with low contrasts, the possibility of suiting various types of print as well as possibility of electronic data transfer.
