Labels in China - Part of the official program of China Label 2005 (international show of labeling technologies), the DecTec Label & Labeling Technology Conference Asia of this year will be held at Guangzhou, from 13th to 15th July. Organizzato da IPI (International Packaging Institute, sede a Neuhausen am Rheinfall, CH) in collaborazione con Messe Stuttgart, l’evento toccherà alcuni dei temi più attuali nel campo della produzione di imballaggi. Sotto la guida di Ingo Büren, direttore scientifico di IPI, saranno infatti trattati argomenti “scottanti” come l’impiego di procedure di simulazione per lo sviluppo delle confezioni (Packaging Converting Workflows), smart packaging e nanotecnologie (Smart Packaging Systems), controllo e gestione dei colori nella stampa di imballaggi e tecnologie UV (Advanced Converting Technologies). 15th-18th june A symposium during the fair P The debut of “P” (international fair on packaging production processes, Stuttgart), is also to be accompanied by the debut of the Packaging Workflow Symposium. Organized in cooperation with Messe Stuttgart by IPI (International Packaging Institut, based at Neuhausen am Rheinfall, CH), the event will also touch on some of the most pressing topics of packaging production. Under the guidance of Ingo Büren, scientific director of IPI, “hot” topics such as the use of simulation procedures for developing packs (Packaging Converting Workflows) will be tackled, along with smart packaging and nanotechnologies (Smart Packaging Systems), control and handling of colors in printing packaging and UV technologies (Advanced Converting Technologies). 24-26 luglio Un club per l’imballaggio Ai produttori di imballaggio Cosmoprof North America (organizzato da Sogecos e in programma a Las Vegas dal 24 al 26 luglio) ha dedicato un’area specifica, situata all’interno del padiglione B e completa di spazio espositivo e sala lounge. The Packaging Club - this the name of the new sector - will host over 700 user concerns from all around the world, and a selection of US operators, the area promising an interesting review of the latest trends and innovations in cosmetics packaging. For further information: www.cosmoprofnorthamerica.com 18 - 22 ottobre Cibus TEC: anteprima Cibus TEC, tradizionale appuntamento con le tecnologie per l’industria alimentare (Parma, 18 al 22 ottobre), sarà accompagnato quest’anno da due forum: “Bottling”, dedicato alle tecnologie di imbottigliamento di liquidi alimentari, e “Logistica”, sulle problematiche legate alla tracciabilità e rintracciabilità degli alimenti. I forum, frutto della collaborazione con l’Università degli Studi di Parma, non saranno però le uniche novità dell’edizione 2005: in contemporanea con Cibus TEC è infatti previsto lo svolgimento della nuova edizione della mostra-convegno ExpoQualità su qualità e certificazione. Un evento questo di particolare rilievo, se si considera che Parma è sede dell’Autorità Europea per la Sicurezza Alimentare - EFSA. 18th-22nd October Cibus TEC: preview Cibus TEC, the biennial show for the food industry (Parma, 18th to 22nd October), will by accompanied this year by two forums: “Bottling” dedicated to liquid foodstuff bottling technology, and “Logistics”, on problems linked to tracing and tracking foodstuffs. The forum, the result of the cooperation with the Parma University, will though not be the only new feature in the 2005 edition: at the same time as Cibus TEC the new edition of the show-convention ExpoQualità on quality certification will be held. An event this of particular importance if one considers that Parma has become seat of the European Authority for Food Safety - EFSA. 24-31 ottobre 2007 Appuntamento con la plastica Il Consiglio espositori di K 2007 (evento leader nel settore delle materie plastiche e della gomma) si è riunito per la prima volta in aprile per definire le date della 17ma edizione della manifestazione. Il meglio dell’offerta mondiale di macchine per l’industria della plastica e della gomma, di materie prime e semilavorati, parti tecniche e plastica rinforzata, sarà di nuovo in scena a Düsseldorf dal 24 al 31 ottobre 2007. Gli inviti per gli espositori partiranno già all’inizio del 2006, mentre il termine ultimo di presentazione della domanda di partecipazione è fissato per il 31 maggio 2006. Si ricorda che l’edizione 2004 di K (svoltasi in ottobre e organizzata come di consueto da Messe Düsseldorf) ha registrato la presenza di 2907 espositori e di circa 231000 visitatori provenienti da oltre 100 paesi. The best of the world offer of machines for the plastics and rubber industry, raw material and semi-processed goods, technical parts and reinforced plastic, will again be held at Düsseldorf from 24th to 31st October 2007. The exhibitors’ invitations will be sent off already at the beginning of 2006, while the deadline for applying to take part has been set for 31st May 2006. We reiterate that the 2004 edition of K (held in October and organized as ever by Messe Düsseldorf) registered the presence of 2907 exhibitors and around 231,000 visitors from over 100 countries.
