Hey Joe: the exhibition
The art of Joe Eula has finally also come to Italy.
Billed in Milan up to 30th May 2006, “Hey Joe” is the first one-man show dedicated to the famous illustrator; his fashion sketches, his famous female portraits, his pictures on horoscopes and eroticism stand as an outstanding opportunity for discovering the taste of a decade - and of an artist - who has set the standards of current aesthetic excellence.
Housed in the spaces of the 6X6 advertising agency, set out amidst the workdesks of their creative staff, the undertaking is born out of the passion for art of Sick Italia, Italian branch of the German company, sponsor of the event in occasion of its 10th anniversary. "Following "Detect the Art", Ray Jackson’s show in 2004 (see ItaliaImballaggio 10/04, En), Sick is once again laying emphasis on the area where industry and culture meet” marketing head of the company Marco Meneghini commented.
