RISPARMI TECNOLOGICI Per una gestione ottimale degli scarti prodotti durante la trasformazione delle materie plastiche, Aertecnica Croci propone alcune soluzioni allo stato dell’arte, che garantiscono benefici a breve e a lungo termine a tutti, costruttori di impianti cast o bolla o converter che siano.

Qualche anno fa, Aertecnica Croci Srl ha costituito la Divisione Engineering, un’area aziendale specializzata nella progettazione e costruzione di impianti e sistemi per il recupero in linea degli sfridi di film plastici e il trattamento degli scarti di produzione.
«Vogliamo aiutare le imprese a rispettare l’ambiente - afferma Ferruccio Croci, fondatore e titolare della società di Pombia (NO) - offrendo al contempo una concreta opportunità di risparmio. Per questo motivo, molti costruttori di impianti di trasformazione, ma ora anche i loro utilizzatori, adottano con fiducia la nostra tecnologia, sapendo che può garantire maggiore produttività ed efficienza, nel pieno rispetto delle normative in materia ambientale».
Obiettivo “zero sprechi”
Ecologia ed economia, secondo l’ingegner Croci, sono due voci che possono andare d’accordo.
«Nell’interesse di tutti, ritengo sia fondamentale abbattere l’impatto delle attività industriali sull’ambiente, riducendo al minimo la contaminazione dell’aria e anche i possibili scarti di lavorazione. Aggiungo subito che, grazie alle nostre proposte, è lo stesso concetto di “scarto” a essere eliminato. Facendo un esempio concreto, il rifilo che si genera nella lavorazione di blown e cast film torna a essere a tutti gli effetti “materia prima” di alta qualità, dato che rientra subito nel ciclo di produzione. In altre parole, gli end user potranno dire addio alle vecchie e costose procedure di raccolta, stoccaggio e conferimento dei rifili agli operatori esterni specializzati nello smaltimento, con vantaggi immediati (e anche a lungo termine) per quanto riguarda l’impiego di manodopera e lo spreco di tempi e spazi».
Tutto ciò è possibile grazie al Trim-Feed Sc55 (1). Si tratta di un rigranulatore nato da una ricerca specifica, finalizzata a garantire l’utilizzo in linea dei rifili di film LDPE e LLDPE provenienti da impianti a bolla, con portate che variano da 7 a 50 kg/h. Nella pratica i rifili vengono plastificati mediante un’apposita vite di estrusione, sino a ottenere granuli delle dimensioni desiderate, attraverso filiera con taglio frontale. Il risultato è un prodotto omogeneo, le cui caratteristiche fisico-molecolari rimangono inalterate.
Salvare lo spazio
Ma Aertecnica Croci ha messo a punto altre soluzioni, per tutte quelle applicazioni in cui è più difficile recuperare e riutilizzare il materiale di scarto: l’obiettivo, in questi casi, è quindi ridurne l’ingombro, consentendo una gestione semplice e conveniente degli avanzi.
«Una di queste soluzioni è il compattatore Ac (2), utilizzato per il recupero e lo stoccaggio degli sfridi di PP-PTP-PE-PA e accoppiati.
Si tratta - spiega Croci - di un impianto con sistema Venturi, che aspira gli sfridi mediante ventilatore e li convoglia nella camera di carico. Da qui, il materiale è spinto nella camera di compressione e, una volta riscaldato dalle resistenze elettriche, compattato in “panetti”: forme dagli ingombri contenuti e facili da gestire, dunque, il che genera di conseguenza economie sostanziose, in termini di costi di stoccaggio, trasporto e manodopera».
Esperti dell’aria
I due sistemi presentati sono solo la punta di diamante di un’offerta diversificata, che si è ampliata nel corso del tempo. La storia dell’azienda inizia infatti nel 1973, al confine fra Piemonte e Lombardia, quando Ferruccio Croci fonda una piccola ditta individuale, specializzata in lavori di carpenteria; nel 1977 fa nascere la Aerotermica Italiana Snc, specializzata in impianti di riscaldamento ambientale e recupero calore, filtrazione di aria inquinata, trasporti pneumatici per cereali e ventilatori industriali.
Un’altra data importante è il 1981, quando l’impresa assume la ragione sociale attuale - Aertecnica Croci Srl - sviluppando soluzioni di depurazione da polveri e gas nocivi.
In questi anni, insomma, l’ingegner Croci si è guadagnato sul campo la fama di “esperto dell’aria”, avendo contribuito con intelligenza allo sviluppo di un intero comparto industriale. «Perché - spiega Croci - non mi sono limitato a disegnare sistemi per il trattamento dell’aria; al contrario, sono riuscito a sfruttare le potenzialità dell’aria stessa, progettando diverse macchine originali per la pulizia di svariati manufatti industriali».
Parlano i fatti
Aertecnica Croci sta ottenendo successi sorprendenti in Italia, Europa e perfino America, comprovati da numeri e fatti di tutto rispetto; un fenomeno, questo, che a prima vista potrebbe stupire, dal momento che la piccola azienda di Pombia non ha ancora strutturato una propria rete commerciale, e nemmeno definito alleanze strategiche con rivenditori internazionali.
Eppure le ragioni dell’affermazione sul mercato sono evidenti, nella loro semplicità. «Il segreto - spiega Croci - è sempre stato quello di “lavorare bene” avendo come obbiettivo finale la soddisfazione dei clienti, alimentando così fra loro un passaparola molto lusinghiero: sembra infatti che il mercato abbia spontaneamente compreso la qualità delle nostre proposte (molto spesso su misura), l’innovazione tecnologica, i benefici generati da un servizio impeccabile, che non conosce limiti di orario e disponibilità. Ben lo sanno anche i miei figli, che lavorano al mio fianco con energia e determinazione, nel rispetto di quei valori che da oltre trent’anni ispirano la mia sfida imprenditoriale». |

Value added waste
TECHNOLOGICAL SAVINGS For an optimal management of waste produced during the transformation of plastic materials, Aertecnica Croci offers some state of the art solutions, which guarantee short term and long term benefits for everybody, whether they be builders of cast or blown plants or converters.

Some years ago Aertecnica Croci Srl founded Divisione Engineering, a company specialising in the design and construction of plants and systems for the line recycling of plastic film waste and the disposal of rejects.

For this reason, many constructors of transformation plants, as well as their users now, confidently use our technology, knowing that it can guarantee greater productivity and efficiency, in obedience to environmental legislation».
Objective “zero waste”
Ecology and economy, according to Engineer Croci, are two things that can go hand in hand. «In the interests of everyone I believe it is essential to lower the impact of industrial activity on the environment, reducing air pollution and also any factory waste to a minimum. I would add straightaway that, thanks to our products, it is the very concept of “waste” that is eliminated. To give a concrete example, the waste that is generated during blown and cast film processes becomes once again, to all intents and purposes, high quality raw material, given that it is channelled straight back into the manufacturing cycle. In other words, end users can say goodbye to old and expensive procedures of collection, storage and delivery of waste to external operators specialised in disposal, with immediate (and long term) advantages regarding the use of labour and the waste of time and space».
In particular, we are talking about Trim-Feed Sc55 extruder (1): the result of special research, guaranteeing direct in line use of LDPE and LLDPE waste film recovered from bubble systems with outputs between 7 and 50 kg/h. Waste from the system is plastified with the extruder screw and made into granules of desired size by means of a die with front cut. The product can be homogenous with unaltered physical-molecular characteristics.
Saving space
But Aertecnica Croci has fine-tuned other solutions, for all those applications where it is difficult to retrieve and recycle waste material. The objective, in these cases, is to reduce bulk, allowing surplus to be dealt with efficiently and approriately.
«One of these solutions is the Ac compactor (2), used for the retrieval and storage of PP-PTP-PE-PA
and laminate waste.
This - explains Croci - is a plant with a Venturi system which sucks up the waste with a fan and channels it into the loading chamber.
From here, the material is driven into the compression chamber and, once heated by electric resistance, compacts into “cakes”, small forms which are easy to handle, meaning substantial savings in terms of the cost of storage, transport and labour».
Air experts
The two systems presented are only the cutting edge of a diversified offer, which has expanded over time.
The history of the company, on the border between Piedmont and Lombardy, began in 1973, when Ferruccio Croci founded a small private firm, specialised in carpentry. In 1977 he founded Aerotermica Italiana Snc, specialised in heating plants and heat recovery, filtering polluted air, transporting cereals and industrial fans. Another important date was 1981 when the company changed its name to Aertecnica Croci Srl as it is still called, developing ways of purifying dust and harmful gases.
In time Engineer Croci has earned a reputation as “air expert” having intelligently contributed to the development of an entire industrial sector. «Because - explains Croci - I didn’t stop at designing systems for air treatment. On the contrary, I managed to exploit the potential of air itself, designing various, original machines for cleaning diverse industrial products».
The facts speak for themselves
Aertecnica Croci is encountering remarkable success in Italy, Europe and even America, substantiated by extremely respectable figures and statistics. At first this might seem astonishing as the small company based in Pombia hasn’t yet organised its own commercial network or even defined strategic partnerships with overseas retailers. And yet the reasons for their business achievements are obvious and simple.
«The secret - explains Croci - has always been “to do a good job” with the ultimate aim of satisfying the customer, leading to word of mouth recommendations that are extremely gratifying. Indeed, it seems that the market has, all by itself, perceived the quality of our offer (very often made to measure), the technological innovation and the benefits generated by impeccable service which is always on hand at any time of the day or night. My children, who work with me with energy and zeal, upholding those principles which have informed my business methods for over thirty years,
